Radiation Board introduced new on-line features for licence application

The new phase of the Electronic Radiation Licensing and Services System (ERLS) has been launched from 24th July 2013. This new phase of development does not only enhance the efficiency, transparency and user-friendliness but also provides further on-line functions for the ERLS.

New features of the internet platform include:

1. Clients of Licensing Service can online
   1. apply to renew or amend Radioactive Substances or Irradiating Apparatus Licences, or apply for new licences;
   2. apply for or amend Permits to Move Radioactive Substances that are covered by a valid Radioactive Substances Licence;
   3. review information of licences or permits under the electronic account of the Authorized Person (AP);
   4. change AP for licensing services if all the licences under the AP are to be transferred to a new AP.
2. Clients of Radiation Board Medical Examination for Radiation Workers can online
   1. apply for or amend medical examination appointments; and
   2. view medical examination appointments.
